Becky Fox, Engagement Project Manager
Indiana University Health, Indianapolis, IN
Indiana University (IU) Health is a statewide health system with 14 hospitals and over 30,000 team members. In a system this size, community benefit reporting can be a challenge! During this webinar, we will discuss community benefit training for staff reporters and the institutionalized systems for involving team members in community benefit. In addition to training and reporting, IU Health has established a variety of opportunities to actively engage the staff in community benefit. Through the Strength That Cares program, IU Health takes service outside the walls of the hospital facilities. In 2016, more than 3,000 IU Health team members dedicated more than 20,000 volunteer hours in their communities. Learn how the IU Health team member volunteer program positively impacts the health of the community and fosters a culture of engagement and social responsibility. This webinar will discuss how the team member volunteer program focuses on community benefit efforts and addresses identified community health need priorities.
